As our State Assemblymember, CHRISTY HOLSTEGE will fight to:

  • Reduce Homelessness by building housing and investing in mental health

  • infrastructure, services, and long-term care.

  • Combat Fentanyl by toughening penalties against dealers and improving access to

  • Naloxone and other life-saving medicines.

  • Fight Runaway Costs by working to raise wages, help industries fix supply chain issues, and prevent tax and fee increases.

  • Create New Jobs through partnerships with local employers and by recruiting new businesses to our region.

  • Build a New Cal State because local students deserve the same access to college that students in L.A. have.

CHRISTY HOLSTEGE understands that the fentanyl epidemic is a crisis that requires urgency in order to save lives and keep our children and neighbors safe. As a local Councilmember, Christy has worked with law enforcement to get drugs off the street and partnered with nonprofits and public agencies to help educate communities.

 

In the State Assembly, Christy will work to:

  • Toughen penalties against fentanyl dealers and traffickers.

  • Expand public education campaigns to warn of fentanyl’s deadly consequences.

  • Improve access to Naloxone and other life-saving medicines.

City Councilmember/Businesswoman

 

CHRISTY HOLSTEGE is a local City Councilmember, businesswoman, civil rights attorney, and mom with a proven record of delivering results for our inland and desert communities. She is also the founder of a legal aid clinic for domestic violence survivors and their children.

 

As our Assemblymember, CHRISTY will fight to:

• Invest in mental health infrastructure and long-term care.

• Build affordable housing to meet demand in our communities.

• Combat the fentanyl epidemic to keep kids safe and save lives.

• Reign in risings costs of gas, groceries, and housing.

• Combat Climate Change and protect our environment.

• Bring a Cal State Campus to Riverside County to meet demand.

 

Christy’s campaign is endorsed by groups representing local teachers, nurses, firefighters, and grocery workers. She’s also supported by local elected, community, and education leaders throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

 

Christy earned her law degree from Stanford and her bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara. She and her husband, Adam, are the proud parents of a rambunctious three-year old son and two high energy dogs.
